Hello and Assalamualaikum to all of you.
As you guys know i'm currently doing my first semester in Bachelor of Business Administration at UKM. Every courses required students to take Citra as an additional for credit hours. To be honest, citra is actually a good subject that help you to improve or build you soft skills. In term of leadership skills, communication, team work and other.
One of the citra that i rolled is "Persediaan Alam Pekerjaan". I like this subject. This subject actually is prepared for final year students BUT in somehow majority of the class are first year students. I learned a lot through this subject. I get to know what is the exactly happened in circle of working life. What the criteria that you need to be prepared as a worker once you graduate. How to do resume, cover letter and video resume in very specific and once the employer read, he would automatically short listed your name.
Every single week different industries came to UKM and gave talk about the same topic. What can i conclude different companies required different kind of resume. You need to know what type or element that you need to put once you apply the job. For example if you are applying for stewardess. The first thing you need to have is your picture because it is the value of being stewardess. Next if you are applying for Accountant, avoid to put your picture. it might be bias to the recruitment because it's nature that people love something good and nice.
Not even that, it's not necessary to put your location. This is to avoid any causes happened in future.
Of course i do have assignment as well. The assignments is pretty much easier and not complicated which are resume, cover letter and video resume. Once we are complete with those 3 documents we are required to do mock interview with industries. Alhamdulilah i just done my mock interview with the OS HRS Company. I got compliment from the regarding my good resume.
